Nabirye Jida
12 years old, comes from a very poor family where she has no hope of getting school fees. Even when her parents don’t come to church, she is there on Saturdays for children’s choir practice, and Sundays for worship and Sunday School. She likes singing, and is a good dancer. She was recently hit by a boda-boda (motorcycle used as a taxi) and spent time in the hospital, but is recovering. She hopes to become a doctor or lawyer someday – if she can get an education!
