OUR VISION
Our vision is to help others grow into men and women of character and integrity. Whether it is to come along side them and offer the basic necessities to survive, or to provide hope to people lost in today's immoral culture; we want to make a difference - one person at a time. In faith, we will encourage them to deepen their relationship with the Lord. With integrity, we will challenge them to fulfill God's purpose for their lives. Through service we will teach them to become the leaders of their generation.
HOW WE BEGAN
Our team was started after a life changing trip to Africa in December of 2008 with Heavenly Hope Ministries. Since that trip I have found a renewed fire burning inside of me to help the children of Africa, as well as the children in my own community. The street kids of Kampala, Uganda have changed me for good. While there, God opened my blinded eyes and stubborn ears and let the feelings of my heart pour out. I was BROKEN with a sadness that will never leave me. It is that same broken Spirit that spurs our team on and causes each of us to work diligently with the hope to change lives here and there! I am grateful for this team and realize it can only be God who brings such a passion out of the people who have not seen what my eyes have seen or heard what my ears have heard. My prayer is that each team member will have the opportunity to travel to Africa in the near future to be His hands and be His feet!
Our team is called Hands of Hope Missions, a division of the non-profit 501(c)3 organization Heavenly Hope Ministries. Hands of Hope Missions will be His hands where ever we go. We will bring hope to all of Gods children including the ones God gave us. Both the present and future generation’s faith will be inspired through Hands of Hope Missions. Our children will carry the torch long after we are gone. We will continue to reach out where ever we can locally with the goal in mind, “Build an Orphanage in Uganda!” His hand print will be left behind where ever we go. May God lead Hands of Hope Missions wherever it is that we are to go, bringing His presence with us along the way.
